anyone have the do-it ultra minnow jigs?

Recommended Posts

I don't want to get into pouring lead.. pouring plasitcs and fly tying already so I really don't need another obsession at the moment.

I would like to get some of the following http://www.do-itmolds.com/products/jigmolds.php?UID=2004122405450368.100.148.122&category=ultra_minnow_jig in 1/8th oz.. and 1/16th if possible.

This is for inshore saltwater .. reds/snook/trout

Thank you in advance.

Rick

Hi Rick

I don't make the jig you are asking about, but; I do go to Florida a few times a year to fish the flats for reds, snook, trout, and all the jigs we use have barbs for plastic tails. I am always open to new ideas. Would you share how you are tying/using these jigs? Thanks, Pop

Where I live in Florida is the Caloosahatchee River. There is a large, shallow sand bar right by where I live. I can wade for redfish, snook and tarpon everyday. I have to walk a total of 50 feet to fish for them. hehehehe. Sandbar is about a football field in size.

I have started experimenting with the minnow head jig that you are looking for. I have bought a few but thinking about getting the molds. Just haven't got them yet.

Great to live in Florida so long as the wind doesn't blow 100mph.
