Skeeter
Your problem with the cob webbs is due to the paint not being thinned enough. The paint comes out too dry causing the cob webbs. You said that you are using acrylic paint, but is it water based or lacquer? Skeeter

Skeeter
If it is lacquer then you need to thin it about 3:1 or 2:1. This will get it wet enough. I use acetone for a thinner. It is the hottest of the thinners. In other words it evaporates the fastest. If you use MEK or lacquer thinner then it will just take a little longer to dry. Shoot your paint at about 24 psi. through the air brush. Let me know if this works for you. Skeeter
