biggiesbaits
Hey guys, I currently use medium soft lureworks. I’m looking to buy a blend for creatures, craws and larger worms(AR Worm) should I go with bait plastics medium or medium / saltwater blend? I want to have some firmness and durability but also good action on my creatures, craws and larger worms. Thanks in advance!!
Fishermanbt
262 med/hard. The 242 med is good but the 262 is firmer to handle hook keepers while still allowing appendages to move freely.
Les Young
I'd say the medium/ hard would work well. I use medium & add hard at a 50-50 mix to make tubes & it gives them what i consider the perfect firmness & still not to tough & the tails have good action. The medium/hard should be some good stuff i'd think.
Tball13
Look at Dead On Plastix. Good stuff.

I've started using MF Easy Stretch sinking. A few dollars more. but well worth it. You can always soften or harden as you go. For stickbaits I use MF sinking soft. Medium for Worms grubs, and usually add softener. But little by little switching everything over to the Easy Stretch for everything. I've tried a bunch of different brands, and MF works best for me. If I were to choose a second, I'd say Bait Plastics.

I’ve had issues with shelf life/back stock with Bait Plastics. Really oily baits and oxidation of the jigheads inside of tubes. Can anyone speak to this? It’s been years since I used their saltwater blend but I’m going to try the low odor saltwater blend to see
Les Young
I've had the oily baits when i first started using it a few years ago. Now i hang them by the sprue until i use them which could be quite some time & they are as good a bait as i've ever had.
