jigmeister
Description about these molds is kind of vague . For example the T147 double tail mold is listed as 3" but then on another site it says 1.5" ? I am looking for a double tail mold similar in size to a Yamamoto 4" double tail grub . Anyone have any experience with these molds
Fishermanbt
In addition to user feedback, I would recommend contacting them. Victor is/has been great to communicate with. Let them know what you’re looking for like size, the layout and number of cavities, and if you are wanting stone or aluminum.
Jig Man
I don’t have experience with this mold but I have an Angling AI grub mold that is listed as a 5 in but measuring the mold the grub is like 3 1/2”. I guess it may be 5 as it goes through the water.
Anyfish
I have an Angling AI 4" Heart Throb Grub mold if you have any interest in it. If you have any interest, drop me a PM and we can probably figure something out.
Les Young
The angling ai mold Chris has is a great jig trailer or hula grub with the skirt attached. I also have a few of the artificial stone molds from bug molds & all have worked great.
Anyfish
It is a nice mold. I liked it so much I bought two for a project and now don't need the 2nd one as much. To answer the OP, I do have a few stone molds and they work well too. I think it took about 6wks or so for mine to arrive.
jigmeister
Got ahold of Victor at Bug Molds via email and asked him about the dimensions of one of their molds under consideration . He replied with drawings attached showing actual measurements that helped verify exactly which mold I needed . As promised Victor was very helpful and great to work with and ordered my mold today . Since the manufacturer I used to get baits from scaled back production of available colors and discontinued the trailer(s) I normally throw for finicky clear water bass this was the only way to get a suitable substitute . Thanks for the tip Fishermanbt
