Jay W
Hello, I just purchased my first mold’s from Epic and I would like to duplicate “Berkeley magnum floating power bait eggs” Any advice on plastisol: Brand floating vs adding a floating additive finesse vs medium vs soft etc colorant - dyes vs resins vs mica I figure there will be a lot of trial and error but was hoping maybe someone has already figured out a technique that may save me time and money. Thanks in advance for any help.
alsworms
Welcome to TU! There have been members in the past here who have duplicated the eggs and hopefully someone can chime in and help out. Good luck!

toadfrog
I always used Bait Plastics medium. Didn't care much for floating additives so I just got the floating plastic. I've used everything from mica powders to dyes . Didn't matter that much to me but I made sure it didn't bleed . Check that bleeding potential before you buy colorant. Real disappointment when you have a bag of baits come out like a cheap flannel shirt.
Jay W
Thanks for the advice. I ended up ordering dead on plastix floating, finesse formula. I also ordered some of their dyes. Anxious to try it out.
