Senkosam
I've thought about using florescent colors that really stand out in low light. I may stock up on some florescent glitter after seeing the results in a few clear plastic sticks I poured. Will asked about .062 flakes which I get few requests for, so I made a few in .092 flakes that become more rod-like than round or hex. (The .062 glitter stays round.) Plastic is the best and easiest material to allow the imagination free rein. Thank You Creme for starting the soft plastic revolution. NJFishRGuy
Awesome! But I assume there is no salt in the clear stick and it's intended to be used as a jerkbait?
Senkosam
Correct, Charlie. I'll try it this way in spring, but will eventually use Spike-It chartreuse dye to make it my favorite jerkworm color, unless fish crawl all over it. Senkosam
Thanks, I figure I've caught quite a few bass on firetiger and bubblegum, why not a laminate of florescenct colored glitter. Think I'll paint on a coachdog pattern with some Chunk paint. large flake and Spike It: How many think that duplicating classic crankbait or topwater lure patterns would enhance a soft plastics potential? charkins
I make a chartreuse with silver glitter stick bait. It worked real well just before dark last year. It was my go to color at just about dark.
NJFishRGuy
Senkosam, Those are unbelievable baits! I think duplicating crankbait colors stands a great chance of working and is worth a try. Let us know how you make out!
Will
Nice work Frank! I don't think Yamamoto can compete with you.
clemmy
Nice! I do think it would be great if you could supply some flourescent glitter, as that is one thing not available to us!
alsworms
Those are awesome Frank. I have looked many times at hard baits for color ideas. Looks like you've got it down! Chris
