Chris.v
Hi all, so yesterday i made my own spinners after I made some i did some testing and the blades where not spinning. Somone here with more experience that can point me in the right direction? wire I used is .024” Blades see picture body’s are .06 and .08oz with a .055 hole i also took a bigger blade what I had to try but still no luck, also giving it a pull to start spinning was no luck. greeting chris
Apdriver
I’m leaning toward poor blade choice. Those small willows just won’t work well on the in-line and the Colorado isn’t a lot better. The Indiana and French will be your go to blades. Also, I would lean toward a metal bead under the clevis as it will be a better bearing than the plastic bead.
Chris.v
Thx for the tip on the blades i will look into it! I also have metal beads and place that on it. Also found the problem, after a friend of me and I tested some more we found that iff you’re body is not possible to move the blade spins very good!
Munkin
Not an inline expert but my guess is that the blade in too big compared to the weight of the bait. I have seen this happen with spinnerbaits when a blade is too big or close to the line tie point. Allen
