VersatileFuturian
So I am building something with a thru wire construction. It's very thin but not hollow and will be put inside of soft plastic. My original design, I used a 2 part epoxy resin from hobby lobby. I can't remember the brand. But I wanted to make sure my design would actually do what I wanted before investing too much into material. So now I am trying to find something better. That resin I was using wasn't very strong, the wire would try to break through it. I thought about maybe trying fiberglass. I also worry how certain resins may react with the soft plastic as well. Do you guys have any suggestions for a stronger material?
BurntC00kie
Smooth On has some great products. Their Smooth Cast 300 is a favorite of mine. Also Alumilite is pretty good to.
