Fish_N_Fool
Hey Guys, I need some help. I'm trying to reinvent a floating mouse topwater bait that I make. I currently make them out of a wine bottle cork shaped down to a mouse like body and I add a weedless hook and some lead to it and I cover all that with soft plastic. Although they are a fish catching machine, they are pretty time consuming to make and the life expectancy is poor at best, as the fish can pretty much destroy one in a few hours of fishing when the bite is on. I want to try to remake this lure using a soft durable foam, but I can find one that the bait wont fill with water and sink after finding for 15 minutes or so. I tried ( Smooth On ) soft foam and not only was it a total failure, plus their customer support was rude and didn't even try to help me. They blamed me for not knowing their product even though you cant find that info anywhere on their site. Plus he said their product are not designed for fishing lures even though they have watched tutorials that they made on how to make fishing lures with their foam products. I will never buy another product from them and I would suggest you shouldn't either. Anyway does anybody know of a pourable soft foam that is closed cell and will not sink?
