WidowMaker
Has anyone tried to use silicone tubing for skirt bands. Ive ordered various sizes of silicone tubing samples from several different sources and ive noticed some of the samples will stretch farther than the others. A few of them wont stretch far at all before breaking. Im using the three prong SkirtMaster tool to assemble the skirts.
Richoc
I have a roll that I got a long time ago. Works great. But I have not found any to buy for replacement. Going to need it soon also. Found it at a surplus store way back. It out lasts the ones that are made for it. But you must find the right stuff. They are all not the same. WidowMaker
Ive noticed while making skirts a thicker walled piece of the tubing has a tendency to break before the thin walled tubing. And you are right it is not all the same quality of tubing. Also if there is a air bubble in the wall of the tubing it will break in that particular spot.
