GB GONE
Anybody pour any blue sapphire?? I hear this color in jigs trailers is on fire right now with a black jig. Anybody got a formula??? I'm looking at some california blue with a little black and plenty medium blue flake... Jim
alsworms
Try Lure Craft's electric blue. California blue is more of a light "powder blue". Attached is my version of sapphire blue. I use medium blue & silver flake. Not a perfect replica, but it's pretty close.
GB GONE
Thanks Chris!!!! I'm sure that "good enough" will catch plenty of fish when I tie on my jig!!!!!! Jim
The Dutchman
Chris, Is there any black mixed with the blue or is it just the blue with flake?
alsworms
No black. Just blue; about 2 drops per ounce of plastic. Chris
dtrs5kprs
Another option is lots of regular LC blue and 2 to 3 sizes of LC blue flake. Key to making it work is using lots of color (way more than you think you need) and lots of flake. Have poured thousands of chunks in that color.
