WidowMaker
With a jig head that large couldnt you build a type of clamp or fixture to hold it stationary. Then set up a drill press to drill at the proper angle making a hole to allow for the glueing in of a weed guard. Can lead be drilled in this manner? If so you might consider buying another mold of the jighead you are using and cut the mold in half in a manner as to expose the area to be drilled. Then the jighead can be placed in it and secured for drilling. Or couldnt you fabricate your own weed guard out of .012 diameter wire and solder it to the jighead. Like those weedless hooks found on "harness worms".
siebler_custom_baits
Very true. You could drill holes into a normal jig head. If you find a nonweedless mold you like you can dremel out the weedguard slot also. Another option would be making a master then molding it or having it machined. Big Splash
Find the mold you like and have it modified (or DIY ) to take a base hole pin to cast in the weedguard hole. This is not a hard to do modification.
