PawPawOzark
I am looking for any ideas on painting eyes on jigs covered with powder paint. Thanks
PaBasser
You can reheat the jig with powder paint and put a small dash of powder paint for the eyes. If you want to be exact, use a stencil made for only the eyes, so paint only goes where you want the paint. PaBasser
Pop
I believe the vinyl paint is compatible with the powder paint. Pop
dtrs5kprs
Vinyl works. Also enamel model paint...careful though as they also make acrylic model paint which will not work. Auto touch up paint bottles also work, esp if you are just trying for eyes on little brown jigs. I use vinyl and enamel on spinnerbaits. Jig eyes mostly just come off when you count rocks anyway. Jig Man
I use enamel over the powder but I don't try to bake it on. It will scortch.
