grimreaper432130
Does anyone out there have any homemade bass scents secrets they would like to share with me. Would like to try something other than commercial products.
badfish03
Anise oil and Garlic oil work well. Tuna oil works sometimes. Robert
SpoRoller
I know a fella who buys the small jars of garlic oil (McCormick brand) at his local grocery store. Uses that instead of buying the commercial garlic scents. Seems to work, since he can catch a fish or two.
The Dutchman
I melt a jar of vaseline on the stove in a pan of water. I put whatever scent I want into it after it is melted - garlic, anise, even some of the commercial brands. Then, I use my finger to put it on soft plastics. Fish seem to hit it harder and hang on longer. Note: don't leave it out on top of boat in real hot weather - it will melt again.
