Rythum&Blues Beaver Color Recipe

Recommended Posts

Hi All,

I searched high and low for some direction for this color combination to no avail…

I tried mixing variations with Lureworks black, red red, and Deadon Redrum and the results aren’t even close,

I’d appreciate if a color pigment/brand can be listed here.

Thanks and Good Luck!

Glenn

Thanks for the info, I'll check that color out.

Although the pictures do not show it, there is red flake and less blue flake but there is a transparent red coloration as well.

It does look like a black/transparent red "swirl" combination so a dual injector may be needed for this color combination/formation.

I'll get some of that color and will try that combination out....

Thanks!

I'm not seeing a "swirl" but just a shading of black. I'm with you on needing a dual injector but without the two plungers connected so you can control the mount of black in the bait. Unless I'm seeing this wrong. It looks like just a bit of black along one side. It doesn't look like you need a deep black. Just enough black colorant to make it transparent so the red still shows through. It's only a picture but it looks like the flake is .015

Yes, you're right about that black color as well as not being a "swirl". Seems to be a trick or technique involved to have that color black injected and appear that way. May have to trial and error some different methods with the plungers. The flake size does look to be .015.

Will give it a go when the colorants arrive.

Thanks!

Not a swirl at all, it's a 3 colour laminate, the back and belly are the same but there is a dark middle colour pumped in there.

It almost seems as if that little bit of black on the side was a skin inside the mold, yet it somehow still looks like a laminate.

In one pic it looks as though the darker side, not the black, is made by using glitter. It seems as though the non- darker side has very little glitter. Or maybe that darker side is some sort of black pearl mixed in the red. Or maybe just a pin tip amount of black stirred into the red, with lots of glitter?

I think there are a few ways you can make this color combo. None of them easy. Maybe easy isn't the word, time consuming seems more like it. If you attempt these , let us know how it works out.

Their 3 colour laminates aren't that consistent. Just the nature in how Zorn's machines make them.
