TRIPLE C CUSTOM LURES
How does weight effect the action of a foam bait? Sorry guys i am new to making hard baits.. Many thanks to Husky and Tally and everyone else for their tutorials and topics... THANKS!!!
Coley
It affects it just like weighting wood baits. It only takes about 1/4 to 1/3 as much weight. Coley
kellure
Exactly what Coley said, same action and less weight.
TRIPLE C CUSTOM LURES
Thanks guys i made a couple with to much weight and was just woundering if it was the weight or the lip that killed the action? MANY THANKS.
savacs
You may need a larger lip on that(if it has too mutch weight). I intentionally made some sinking lures, that are really sinking. They go down just like led. At first did not think i would make them work, but i furtunately tryed a considerably larger lip, and it was al right. Those weren't foamyes. They mere made out of wood.
