the greek
Anyone have a good color combo for making a bluegill colored skirt? Are there any premade that are close?
Celticav
I like to focus the highlights when trying to copy a bluegill, whether the tones are softer like my trusty Bleeding Bluegill or to the extreme like my Nuclear Bream in the bottom pic. I am tinkering with one now that is a dark green/no flake pad and a clear/black fishscale pad mixed 50/50 and accented with either a few strands of both chart and orange running down the bottom or maybe just pumkin/orange tips. If nothing else I'm having fun with it, JIM

texasbass1
I use the Strike King skirt (Sun Perch) I think. I get them at Wally world.
madbass
I like the bleeding bluegill on the top, but I would put more watermelon in it.

topppher
I have tried, and never really liked them... it is tough, because everytime you catch a bluegill, you throw it back, or use it for bait...
