Fish_N_Fool
I was just wondering what you guys use for a stir stick and thought that you might be interested in what I use. I've heard some of you say you use wooden popsickle sticks. I use a a piece of fence wire in an old paint brush handle. The fence wire will not rust and the wood handle makes for a great heat proof easy to hold handle. Here's what mine looks like. Bent like this it stirs the salt off the bottom very well and is very easy to clean off the plastic. I have 3 of them so I can stir 3 differant pots at the same time. Joe S.
I use a butter knife, works great and the plastic slides right off it.
Mojo
Ditto what Joe said. I use 2 or more, one for each color.
GB GONE
Butter knife(s) for me also!!! Be sure NOT to use the popsicle sticks (or any wooden sticks) unless you are trying to add bubbles into your plastic. I have used this to actually help some worms float better for a carolina rig !! BassnG3
Flat tip screwdriver for me. Handles are insulated. Scott
dtrs5kprs
have always used teaspoons or tablespoons. habit I guess. do occasionally use a bent paper clip to unclog the pour spouts on the hot pots.
Senkosam
Like Joe said, plus the handle of a metal spoon or fork. I've even made a flying lure from the broad handle of a table spoon, by dipping it a few times and slicing the back into a skirt! (I W-D'd the handle so it would slide off easier.) Never caught fish with it, but what the heck.
