Haebar
Which is the best for the small batch worm pourer, microwave or conventional heating methods? Anybody use the kitchen range or is it too dangerous?
Mercury
Microwave is faster, Just use a pyrex cup. Burners a: take longer, b: need aluminum pans for best operation, c: seem to scourch the plastics faster if not attended to. You really have to baby sit the burners. Oops, almost forgot, D: SMOKES a ton!
Haebar
Mercury, Thanks for the response. How long do you microwave it? (Seems like you could overdo it here too?). Thanks,
SRPLASTICS
4 to 5 minutes for 2 cups, it also depends on the power of the microwave, start small and work your way up, stir plastic between heats
