mossy maker
I paint my baits mostly with spray cans and have traditionally coated them with polyurethane but have not been satisfied with this method as a top coat. I have tried using the 2 part epoxy coating from Janns Netcraft but it is softening my paint and causing it to smear no matter how long I let the paint cure. I'd be thankfull for any suggestions. mossy maker
Do you guys thin it at all or do you use it straight. If you thin, with what. I assume you use a disposable brush? mossy maker
siebler_custom_baits
i use it strait on hardbaits and on wirebaits
cheesehead
I use devcon 2 ton stait applying it with a flux brush. After I have some on the lure I warm it up with my heat gun and brush it out smooth. Warming it up will cause it to thin out to a water like consistancy. It will also cause it to set faster so you can apply a second coat sooner.

I just finished building myself a small dryer from an old paint mixing machine motor. With you guys tips and the dryer hopefully I will have some baits to show you guys soon. mossy maker
