cement 'smell'

Recommended Posts

I am just putting bucktail on spinners and spinnerbaits. I have it setup out in the hallway. I own two parrots, and what might smell obnoxious to us might kill them. Not warm enough to do outside yet, and the basement is cold. I would like to find something that I could use inside without setting up a fan that would pull all the heat out.

I've used a 2-ton epoxy when anchoring screw eyes in body baits. It is a two part epoxy that smells worse than anything I have used in the past. What epoxy do you use? One other question. I am trying to have the hair 'flare out' on my spinnerbait. The collar area is very short. Not alot of room to ty anything there. Originally there was a rubber skirt there. What technique is employed to flair out the hair? Thanks again. the Rookie

You might tie a reverse tie (or backwards tie) with bucktail.. you will need a little room to that tho. You can see a recipe for this at the following link

The flare can be controlled with tension after pushing the bucktail back towards the rear. Hope this helps.
