Salty's
Works fine under a topcoat, use dark and lighter colors for cool effects. I paint some saltwater plugs with colors such as pearl blue over silver or olive/white and then fog the chameleon gold over the color meeting area and it makes some cool effects! redg8r
yeah devcon is fine over the paint. It typically comes in 3 parts, a flat black base, the "color" & a clearcoat Like saltybugger said, you can get neat effects by using different color schemes. I did a firetiger pattern & sprayed the "color change" part over the whole bait, but the color change only takes place on the black stripes of the pattern, everywhere else its invisible........pretty nifty. Salty's
try Createx chameleon gold over white and dark....makes kinda a neat gold fog color on the white when looked at from an angle.
COLOR ME FISHIN
Kameleon is House of Kolors brand name-PPG has their Harlequin line of holographic paint-much more intense than H.O.K.-$30.00 an ounce, but the stuff is wild-they have about 6-8 color change options(cayan/purple-magenta/gold). Have been using them for over a year and finally getting used to what they do.
