bhamfisherman
I am trying to get started into pouring soft plastics and was hoping that some one could tell me how much to get of the following and also what colors to start with Plastic Colorant Glitter Worm Oil Softener Hardener
BigZ
The best place for you to look would be under the search function. Type beginning under soft plastics forum, or beginner. You might be best off buying one of the kits first from Lurecraft, M-F, or Del. Otherwise, I would recommend the following. 1 gallon of plastic. a few 1oz bottles of colorant (Purple, Watermelon, black?) about 10 bucks worth of glitter form senkosam. (black red holo) You don't really need worm oil. Throw some kicn'bass or other scent in the bag. A pint of softener. Skip the hardener unless you are making saltwater baits. Good Luck. james bradshaw
Personally I wouldn't buy a kit, I would just buy an aluminum mold from bobs tackle shack or del mart. Find a mold that you would really like to make lures from. and go by the list Big Z made. I wouldn't buy anymore silicone molds from LC. I was very disapointed with the LC molds, they never give me what I would consider a quality looking bait. But that is my own opinion! Good luck!
