jigmaster
Good afternoon, all Anyone have experience with making a product catalog on CD format? Is there software available, or easier to do from scratch? Any thoughts out there?
Hwy-Apostle
I would do it in word and save as a pdf file. then just make an autorun file and ad the adobe reader (free file) to the cd you can do a search in google about writing an auto run. or find one on an old cd and make the changes needed to the script in notepad and save it. I would have it pop up with the company logo then have 2 links on it 1: browes catalog 2: install adobe reader Hope this helps.
Delw
I been building a cd catalog for a few months now, I found a ton of programs which worked, a good one was http://www.chronsystems.com its pretty easy to use and pretty cheap. Other programs are better but they run about 500 bucks I think this one ran $49 but again you get what you payfor. Delw
GB GONE
I'm in the process of making one as well...I found a nice little program called Presentation Publisher where you can add graphics, music, text, charts, etc real easy and then you can burn it to cd with autorun built in. When customer puts cd in, it opens and runs with now clicking on anything. You can build items in Word, Publisher, Access, Powerpoint and use them in this software. I think I got it for like $39.00. You may be able to google it as they have a website. I also use this software to make CD's for my family at the end of the year with all the pictures we accumulate. Add in some of that years music and you can remember the year and the tunes easy!!! Jim
