It's been a while since I have visited and a lot has happened in that time. The deal with California Tackle fell through although this has not stopped me in the quest to bring anglers something special. I am now living in Idaho and setting up a shop to do a couple of things I was not in the past. I just got back from the Northwestern Rod-builders Get Together in Washington Sunday and the show was great. I had a chance to talk with some manufacturers reps and show what I am building. The response was very good and I have made some connections for rod builders that may just interest you folks is the reason I am here. I spoke with Darrin Heim from The American Tackle Company about producing some rod blanks for me to get out to rod builders and his interests and replies were very positive so here I am to ask what you folks what you might think about building on some laser blanks. The specs have not all been put together yet but we talking about some 6 footers in the area of 8 to 17 or 8 to 20 or so. As things unfold and interests are taken into account more information will be available. If you could let me know what you think and would have any suggestions I would be grateful to here them.
