crash714
Hi Guys, I was checking out Bob's Tackle site are there is a mold for a Brush Hog. I'm just wondering if the "legs" on the front end of the bait are suppose to be cut after away from the body afterwards? It looks like it creates 2 loops, Anyone familiar with this plastic? Thanks, Eric
charkins
Leave the loops as is. That is just the way the bait is made. A very good bait I might add. I make a dark blue color with medium blue flake. Dynamite on bass here this time of year. Watermelon with red flake is good as well. You can't go wrong with it. BigZ
Depending on how weedy and how much action you want the bait to have, you can leave the loops intact (which might give a slower fall) or cut them loose so they flare like a leg when the bait is moving. I always cut the loops free on Brush Hawgs. Why Not?
