Nathan Posted April 18, 2005 Report Share Posted April 18, 2005 Robert, I've never had shiners,but I have a pond on my property that I keep stalked with fathead minnows.They are the main food source for the Bass,Bluegill and catfish in my pond.They are extremely hardy fish,and will tolerate varied water temperatures.They spawn on the indersides of logs and brush...a cinderblockin the shallows or a piece of wood floating on the surface works great for spawning.If you contact a fish farm that provides stalking fish,they will have them for around 9.00 a pound..Nathan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
