siebler_custom_baits
Daves baits kicked but in Mission Bay California Yesterday at the San Diego Sailing Centers Kayak Bass tournament. There were 134 people and only 7o something weighed in fish. I was throwing grubs catching 9" fish then i put on a tally spinnerbait and 2nd cast BAM a 1.38lb spotted bay bass (Spottys are smaller than largmouth and this is a fairly nice tournament fish). Anyways i got 6 bass in 5 hours on Daves baits(a Lime and White spinnerbait with Exremly light wire). Ended up taking 6th place with 7.49 lbs, 7/100ths of a pound out of the money. Winning weight was just over 8.5 lbs. Only thing that caugh legal fish for me was a tally spinnerbait and a bass8 Worm as a trailer. My big fish was 1.75lbs and big fisdh for tourny was 2.3lbs. Very fun to fish TU baits and do well. I was sporting the TU logo on the kayak and the Batey Logo as well although i never took out any of his baits even though they caught fish in the area previously. Several other TU members fished this tournament but im not sure of there exact weights. Thank you Dave and Javier for the kick bass baits. Skeeter
Tally's spinnerbaits are great. I have a few of them myself. My son grabbed one out of my tackle bag yesterday in the boat and I told him to put it back. There are certain baits that are just for me and that is the way it is. Same for the jigs and crankbaits that I have gotten from him. Tally is a class act. Skeeter

Art Brush
I haven't tried any of Tally's jigs or spinners but I can tell ya his crankbaits rule. Dave sent me one of his cedar balsa laminated baits sealed in plastic dip... great action and the lure looks indestructible under normal use, heck even ruff use! lol When the lures not tied on my line it stays in the top shelf of my tacklebox.
