Hello to all

Recommended Posts

Hi folks,

My name is Ray Mazza and I'm from Central NY. I am a Custom Rod Builder and I also do rod and reel repair. If I can answer anyone's questions or offer any help of any kind, just ask. I'm here to get and give help. Rod building is a lot of fun but can get confusing at times. What to spend your money on is usually the biggest problem facing the person who wants to build a rod. I enjoy helping a person decide what it is they want to put their rod together with so if this is where you are at, ask away. I'm not going to tell you where to buy, but I will help you get the right pieces so that you end up with a rod that does what you want it to do. Yes, I do sell components as well as rods and reels but I am not trying to get your purchase. I even teach classes and I plan to test an online rod building class and would like to get input from you all if that is ok'd by the admin. There is always something new to be learned and I'm sure I'll learn here as well. I hope so !! Drop me a line and introduce yourself !! I can always use another friend.

Yes, I do build Custom Rods. It's a great hobby to get involved in. That's how I got started. Then it became a sideline business and now due to a line of duty injury, it may be my new career. I will have to post some pictures down the road. I will talk to the Boss about a tutorial, it sounds like it might be a good idea. I'm new to this kind of stuff so you'll have to bear with me as I stumble along. Thanks for writing !
