woodsac
Anybody pouring big stick baits? 7" or 8" Maybe even a real fat 6"? The 7" senkos have the worst color selection of any plastic on the market!
basskat
I pour an eight inch stick. It's a big wad of plastic! It's a flat sided one piece mold that i made from Durhams. Need to get around to making a two piece but just haven't had the time. I also Texas rig this thing in deep water. It works great.
woodsac
Thanks basskat. The senko is the only plastic bait that I prefer to be round. I've tried a couple of different versions with one flat side and just didn't care for them as much? Maybe I'm just being picky
mickeyg
I got my 7" stick bait mold from Del. I haven't caught a lot on bass on them, but they all been nice ones. Mickey
woodsac
Thanks Mickey. I'm not looking to pour them. I don't even like to fish them But when I do, I throw the biggest ones I can get my hands on. I did just get some from BPS last week. Cinnamon w/purple and a black/orange laminate. Pretty good colors that I can't find anywhere else
