BassNator 1 Posted May 3, 2005 Report Share Posted May 3, 2005 I have used Super Glue, but I have been using Contact Cement with great success. Yes I apply it right over my base coat. The contact cement is like the Rubber Cement, only stronger and it wont glue your fingers together. The Contact Cement has worked great for both foil and paper for me. Gator_Fan Posted May 3, 2005 Report Share Posted May 3, 2005 I am using Super 77 spray adhesive from 3M. The label states "Bonds many foils, plastics, papers, foams, metals and cardboard." The foil is "floating" for a while over the glue layer, so you have plenty of time to set it right. In half-way setting the wrinkles can be smoothed nicely.
