GB GONE
I'm doing mine in an amber brown over a lime green or kudzu green....Anybody else do there's different??? Jim
BigZ
I like to pour the green over the brown, seems to get more hits here. I use watermelon and moss green (about 3:1) with large black flake for the top. For the brown part I use MF transparent brown and/or just plain brown. I've also done good using MF watermelon brown for the bottom color. I don't run any flake in the bottom color, but I don't see how it could hurt? I've also done real well with Green pumpkin and brown (Castaic choice???)
pourboyplastics
Our green weenie is more of a brown cinnamon red with flor yellow with a touch of green. Pictures on our website
alsworms
Green Weenie.......always has been and always will be a great color. I do mine just like yours Jim......with amber brown and lime green. Black flake in the amber and red flake in the green. But again, it's another "just go with it" color. Big Z makes a great point with the green on top. I have had equal success with both. Around here, if it doesn't have green, brown, and a little red, you probably won't catch any fish.
GB GONE
Now I'm going to have to mix some of all of them up !!! Thanks guys I mean thanks guys :!: Sounds like all of the variations will be fish catching baits!!! Jim
BigZ
I have to agree with Al on the color limitations we suffer here. Smoke works too (when the water is clear!), and some stuff with blue in it or blue and purple combos, but ... watermelon and the green pumpkin are the kings of the west coast...even that A's magic stuff works...LOL. earthworm77
I am a big fan of this color. It is funny how it varies from pourer to pourer. I'm a fan of Chris' version as I like the red flake in mine.
