BonezBaitCo
Has anybody used an empty laundry detergent jug to hold plastic? It seems the jug is very sturdy and after shaking the plastic, it would be super easy to pour into the pyrex cups for heating. I'm not sure if the liquid plastic would eat through any part of the jug, though. Any comments?
Mojo
Should be ok as long as you clean if VERY thoroughly. No telling what detergent might do to raw plastic. Also, be sure there is no smell in the jug after you clean it. Any odor left over in the jug will most likely transfer to the plastic. alsworms
I tried this once, and detergent WILL make the plastic bubble. As Mojo mentioned, make sure you clean and dry the container very well before adding plastic.
