Does anyone know where to purchase the wire, or what type of wire do you use to make your own spinner baits? I tired Home Depot and my only other option are Mom and Pop type stores, any hints? Janns, Stamina, Barlows, etc. sell em in all popular guages, if youre looking for a local source, check into your local welding supply store. Good luck! WidowMaker Posted May 21, 2005 Report Share Posted May 21, 2005 I buy .018 inch 1/4 pound coils of the Mason Brand of stainless wire form Barlows.....but if you order it you need to talk to them and make sure they dont send you one with a crimped spot in the coil.
