Terrydabassman
Here's a tutorial I did today. I take no credit for this, thanks to BobP, KingKarl, and Dean McClain. The post by BobP http://www.tackleunderground.com/board/viewtopic.php?t=5601 got me started thinking maybe I can do this. Thank you everybody, these are your ideas and they worked!!! Only thing different I did was to use the Exacto Knife handle. I made several in a matter of minutes...thanks again every body!!! It's guys like you that make this site great!!! Art Brush
Great tutorial Terry! I also enjoyed the one you did on the bomber craw. http://www.tclarkcustomlures.com/bomber/bomber.htm We'd be glad to have them in the knowledge base. Jerry's been updating the software and it looks like we've got the bugs worked out. If you'd like to submit your tutorial to the knowledge base you can click on the link below. It will take you to the upload page. http://www.tackleunderground.com/board/kb.php?mode=add&cat=2 PM me with any q's you might have and I can help ya with the upload. It's up to you buddy. Your work is awesome! Tight Lines, Shawn
BobP
Yours is a fast and reliable way to get it done. By whatever method, I think the homemade jobs are superior to store bought SS screw eyes, which are usually tapered and have very shallow threads. That doesn't provide much bonding surface. The homemades hold better, IMO.
Lure--Prof
Great job Terry :!: I also enjoyed your tut on the bomber, the first real crankbait! And yeah, Bob, and if you get the heavy duty screw-eyes, most fisherman won't be able to change the hooks on the lure without springing their split rings.
