GB GONE
If it is a light watermelon you might want to check out Del's website. He has a color that is light watermelon. I don't have it but a friend says it is good!!! Jim

alsworms
Looks like a very light green pumpkin (Lure Craft's) with small gold flake to me. :
james bradshaw
Actually you can get that color by starting with a very light smoke, and adding a little watermelon green. and some .008 gold holographic and I think it has some .008 black flake as well. I might have the recipe wrote down somewhere. But you don't really need it. Just start out with a drop or two of black just remember light smoke not dark then add watermelon and or some more black untill you match it. You should be able to get it pretty close to a perfect match. Good luck! James
Senkosam
If you want a bass-belly white, flour some salt or use clear flakes in clear plastic and pour 1/2 the mold; use Jim's color scheme for the dorsal half. I use light gold vs. yellow gold for bass. The above bass use flakes that are all .015 (my first test pour.) I've since increased the size of the flakes to .040 for black and gold, but left the lime green or kelly at .015. The belly is sugar flakes in clear plastic - much different and more natural than using white dye or pearl. Kinami's bass is probably different.
docirv
Thanks guys, I finally was able to get out of the house and get to a tackle store that had Kinami baits and was able to see baby bass close up. I have been laid up due to two hip surgeries on the same hip in a few months. the first to replace the bad hip and the second to fix it after I fell on it. Anyway, the baby bass looked like watermelon with with .015 silver and black fleck. I did not see any gold in it at all.
Senkosam
Unlucky break (no pun intended) especially in spring when the fishing has been explosive. Get well and let it mend properly. Frank
docirv
Thanks, Senkosam, that is what I am trying to do but I have to tell you that if I do not go fishing soon, well, I may just pop a loose screw or two. Actually, I am allowed to drive now and can go fishing according to my doctor, but I just don't have the stamina yet.
