vytautas
Greetings my friends, Sorry for not answered emails, PM's and questions - I've had a tuff time doing things that I do for a living I am quitting my job and will be professional crankbait maker I am working last 3 weeks in the advertising business - no more monitoring, no more data sheets, no more boring numbers So here is the question. I am planning to visit US this July, and I want to visit as many fishing shows, tournaments as possible. Where can I find schedule, and what shows are the best, where should I concentrate my attention? I will be staying in the US for up to 2-3 weeks Thanks in advance Tight lines, vytautas
onlybass
All of the tackle shows that I know of are in January,February and March. There is a Bassmaster Open on Lake Erie(phenominal Smallmouth fishery, also excellent walleye and perch) in July.Check out www.bassfan.com for schedules of bass tournaments. clemmy
V- It's not a HUGE deal over here, but considering where you are from you might want to at first target species relative to your location...I'm not sure of Lithuania, but from what I read Northern Pike and Zander are big European spiecies.. So, you could do a google search on "northern pike tour" and "walleye tour" (our z equivalent).. It depends if your intial marketing will be to Eur or to US... Also, you may want to initially do a deal with someone from this site to mutually benefit each other...For example if you do custom European crankbaits, perhaps one of the TU members (say a soft plastic specialist)would sell your baits in the US off their site, and you could sell theirs in Europe off your site. (I'd love to do this having seen your baits over the years, but am not ready to go into production now...) Good Luck! Clemmy
