WidowMaker
I came across another one of my grandfathers old tackle boxes and found what appears to be a lure rattle. It is made from a rifle shell casing with a hole drilled in the center of the primer section. A copper wire with an attachment eye is inserted through the hole and a glass bead added to the end of the wire. When you hold the eye and shake it the glass bead rattles against the inside of the shell casing. I did some checking and was told he made these for his own personal use back in the fifties.
