LJMLuke Posted July 30, 2003 Report Share Posted July 30, 2003 Hey Guys, I wanted to let you know that I have just started useing senko type lures and love them. I was told to try scented baits in western Maine on small mouth and brought up some senkos that I had from someone on ebay that messed up my order and sent them to me to make up. The smallies ate them up!! I live on a lake in southern Maine with large mouth and started to use them at home with great results! I have used plastics before but never had so many bass in the boat!! In the past 4 days I have caught 3 huge bass for this area. The largest ever and I have been on this lake 24+ years!!! I got a 21" 5lb 1 oz, a 20" 4lb 11oz, and a monster 20" 5lb 12oz largemouth. All on baits I made myself!! It has got to be the salt. All of the bass I catch, I catch without any movement of the worm. All I do is throw it in a certain good looking area and watch the line go as it falls. Before it hits bottom I see the line really move , from a fish obviously! It really is something.
