phineasflye
does anybody out there have any info on how to paint cork poppers. I am thinking about getting an airbrush so Ican get real professional results in the finish.I was also wondering how to get the rubber legs in the body without damaging the paint job
cavu
When I was making a lot of poppers, I just dipped them a few times in the pint of my choice the cleaned out the eye and those few I made that had rubber legs, just drilled and inserted the legs after the paint. I never went into much detail with the paint, maybe two colors. Found out the fish did not seem to care how much time and pains I took to impress them. nate-o
hey or you could stick them in first before you paint and when you are painting just tape the legs over with masking tape so no paint gets on it. but if i were you and you are just making cork popper and flies i wouldn't get and airbrush you can just a easliy paint them by hand. so i would try tapping the legs off
