Terrydabassman
I'm having trouble getting my flat sided Tenn Tuffy type foam bait to swim. It just dives to one side...no wobble. Tried 1/8oz and then 1/4oz. Tried no ballast....lol...I'm using barrel sinkers...is that acceptable?
Art Brush
Terry, I think the problem might be with the lip angle and ballast placement. Is it possible your ballast is shifting when you close the mold and stand it to vent? Is the ballast too high in the lure? I've remedied a similar problem by making the belly lower to move the ballast further down. Tight Lines, Shawn
Terrydabassman
Ballast in the flat sided bait is directly above the the hook hanger. I'm useing a wire through, so I don't think the weight is shifting. I thread the wire through the barrel sinker so it's centered, when trying the different split shot weights, same thing, I clamp it down to as low as the mold will allow. I'm baffeled.
