johnnytheboy
Hi There, I was wondering if etex suffers from the old fish eye, i have my first two lures that i used etex with and there are patches that aren't covered at all as if the etex has been pushed away from that area?? I was wodering if i degrease these lures and give them a second coat do you think it will be ok?? One last thing sorry about this, does etex wet flatten and polish out ok once cured?? Thanks again Tightlines John
Richoc
Hi, You put it on to thin..... Or had contamination on those spots. Most likly you put it on before the reaction had finished mixing. Let it go completely clear before putting it on. It will thinken while standing...15 mins before putting it on. You can go right back over the top ...with out any surface prep. It will bite in to it self no problem. Rich
RiverMan
Rich is right...too thin, just come back over the top of it with a couple coats and you will have a masterpiece......Devcon will do the same thing by the way if put on too thin. jed
