Spinner Posted June 27, 2005 Report Share Posted June 27, 2005 Finished a prototype shad-minnow bait that I had been working on this spring. Did a quick paint job on one of them and headed to a small lake in the area. In a short hour, managed to hook two 2 lb. large mouth with the new bait. Also caught a few more with store bought baits but these are the first two bass ever on my creations. I love it when a plan comes together! Been painting non-stop ever since! I can still remember the first one i caught on a homemade lure...it adds a whole new dimension, meaning and understanding to catching a fish. Keep up the good work.
