argyll Posted July 12, 2005 Report Share Posted July 12, 2005 Hi, I'm a newbie on the forum from London UK. I fish for mainly pike, perch and chub and like to use softbaits for just about everything. I've just started to pour my own baits and I'm looking for a source of bulk plastisol in Europe, preferably the UK. I currently buy from US suppliers and whilst the service is good, the postage rates on heavy parcels are expensive..more than the cost of the plastisol. So I'm looking for one of two things, either a supplier in Europe or the precise scientific name of the product. The nearest name I can get is 'hot melt plastisol' but when you ask plastics companies whether they can supply the stuff, they want a precise name...bit of a long shot, but is anyone able to help ? thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
woodsac Posted July 12, 2005 Report Share Posted July 12, 2005 You might try "vinyl plastisol" or "curing liquid plastisol". A long shot is "PVC plastisol". But I'd hate for you to get the wrong thing because pvc is toxic. That's why we highly urge everyone pouring to wear a respirator!!!!
