Mojo
Most people are saying 1/2 cup salt to 1 cup of plastic. You'll need 2-3 oz of softener with that much salt. I use 1/3 cup salt to 1 cup plastic with 1 oz of softener. I pour mainly for shallow lakes and ponds, so I like the fall a little slower. log
It also comes down to personal preference and where you fish. I like to use 1/4 cup salt and 1/8 cup softener per 1 cup of plastic.
WVaGitzit
According to all I have read, most people suggest for a cup of plastic use 1/2 cup of salt and 1/4 cup of softener. So half as much salt as plastic and half as much softner to salt. This seems to be what most people use but you may need to adjust for your particular taste.
