Camel1918
Hello all, Ok, here it is! Little BlueGill This is my second crank and this one went much easier, especially the airbrushing. Ok, I'm deffently hooked with this obsession! The lure is balsa cut from two pieces glued together. This one is not through wire like the first. The weighting was no problem, as I learned from the first. I also got the front hook placement right this time. I've just finished the last coat and it's ready to receive its lip. I just had to post it as I'm very happy with the way it turned out. Please let me know what you think. When air brushing, I am constantly having to clean out the nozzle. Is that something that is normal? I'm new to airbrushing so any tips would be appreciated. Thanks Camel1918

kellure
What type of paint are you using? The lure looks great btw.
Camel1918
Kellure, Thanks for the comment. I'm using Ceramcoat by Delta for the base paint and using some old leftover metalic polymer acrylic from The Armory. The Ceramcoat I'm thinning with Polly S airbrush thinner and the Armory metalics I'm thinning with only water. Camel1918
