rookiepourer
I have just started pouring my own worms and trailers. This has been a great site in which to obtain information. I have made two aluminum molds, one for drop shot worms and the other is jig trailers. I thought I would share some pics with everyone. Dropshot
rookiepourer, How did you make these molds and is it very time consuming. I have been wanting to make and/or purchase customs molds for some time now. Thanks Dropshot

rookiepourer
Hey guys thanks for all the feedback. I just got back from vacation. Yes these molds were made using a CNC machine. The dropshot mold took me about 4.5 hours to complete. the tail sections were all done with manual commands on the machine. That was the time consuming part. I work for an engineering company and made them when I had nothing to do and also when the boss was gone on vacation. I am not a machinest but know how to run our machine so these are a one time deal. Know I just have to learn to pour better but I guess practise makes perfect. thanks again for all the feedback and interest Mark
Haebar
What's a CNC machine?
Coley
CNC stands for Computer Numerically Controlled. In this case I would guess its a computer controlled type of metal cutting machine or lathe. Coley
