rookiepourer
Here are two pics of the trailers and worm. Mixing the colors is going to take me awhile but I expected that. The actual pouring needs to be refined but I am learning. The worm color turned out to look alot like a Robo Folkstad Special. It's a combination of Violet grape and purple with fine red flake. I only took 20 of them to Lake Perris yesterday to test them out. I only caught a bunch of small fish but they liked the color.
kidlizard
Did you make those molds? If so, they look great!! Very nice pours for just getting started. As far as colors go, you cant really screw it up, but it can give you a headache sometimes!! Trying to perfectly match some peoples colors is the hardest challenge I have. Seems like everyones watermelon and pumkin seed is a little different. My suggestion is get a recipe that you like and stick with it and people will get used to your version of these types of colors. I also would highly recommend writing down every detail of any "experimental" recipe. I made some colors when I first started that I would kill to duplicate, but cant do it because I didnt write it down. Dont think you will remember, because you just wont. (however I am not smarter than the average Joe, that could be part of the problem)..............Good luck it looks like you are off to a great start... Mercury
Hey rookie, thoes are sharp. Some people that make molds dont get a clean pour. But you have a good mold on your hands. THey look really good. Looks like a winner mold. The pour looks good too. I would keep a recipe book of that color. Never know when that will come on handy again!!
