CountryKat
I have a cheap badger airbrush. I also have a nice compressor. Would it be ok to attach the brush to the compressor instead of using the little aerosol can that came with it.
Bass Tracker
I am assuming that you are speaking of a normal aircompressor not an airbrush compressor. This connection can be made (this is the system I used to use before someone swiped my airbrush ) with the purchase of a regulator. The psi from the compressor is probably much to great for the airbrush. I could not find one on the badger site, but found a few on the Paasche site. Should be usable with your brush... http://www.paascheairbrush.com/cgi-bin/store/search.cgi?category=Compressors+%26+Regulators
CountryKat
My compressor has a built-in regulator. Would this be sufficiant to run the air brush? If so, what is the recommended PSI to run an air brush? Just want to make sure my regulator will dial down far enough so I don't blow the gun apart. Bass Tracker
between 30 and 40 psi should do you right. One thing you may want to check is if your regulator has a water trap. This can cause your paint to foul more often than not.
CountryKat
There is no trap on it. I will get one and give it a try. If I screw up at least its a cheap gun. Thanks for your help. CKat
