BB
i went to the store to get a 3/32" lexon sheet.they didn't have it.but the expert at the counter said lucite is the exact same thing.just a different company.to make a long story short.lucite is not lexon.for you beginners like me.well a lesson learned
Skeeter
Instead of Lexan ask for polycarbonate. Lexan is just a trademark name for polycarbonate. Try a glass shop. Skeeter

mwbassin
I got a 4x8 sheet from this company for 65$. They will also cut it up for you and ship it to ya. I don't know where you live but here's the link. http://www.piedmontplastics.com/prodtype.asp?ID=10&TYPE=
scoop10
go to mcmaster-carr at mcmaster.com, put in "polycarbonate" into the search and choose the size sheets you want and number. I bought 6 sheets of 24" x 24" for $66 ($11 per). That's 24 square feet, which is less than the 4' x 8' sheet, but a lot easier to initially handle. scoop10
oh yeah, you will probably want the .063 thickness, although the .094 might be OK.
SpoRoller
I get mine from Home Depot but forgot what they charge. If you are "dabbling" in making your own bills they would be a good stop. They sell small sheets just in case you decide you would rather buy your own bills. fatfingers
If you go to any retail outlet, don't hesitate to ask if they have any scraps. You may be able to buy the stuff at a steep discount or they may even give you the odd shaped pieces.
